Honda Rd at Bogota Ave - part time no parking on waste collection day

Feedback closes 7 April 2023

Council has been informed by the waste collection services that the waste collection vehicles (6am-12pm Monday to Tuesday) have maneuverability issues when vehicles park on both side of Honda Road, Kurraba Point as well as vehicles parking illegally within 10m of the intersection. Further, Council has received concern from residents regarding vehicle maneuverability issues when vehicles park on both side of Honda Road. Therefore, it is proposed to signpost two 10m ‘No Parking’ restriction and one 12m ‘No Parking’ restriction on the northern side of Honda Road. Net loss of 5 parking spaces. Refer to the proposed concept plan available from the document library.

Please note that a driver must not stop on a road within 10 metres from the nearest point of an intersecting road at an intersection without traffic lights.

If there is general community support for this proposal, it is intended that works will be completed after the approval from the Local Traffic Committee members.

Note: The feedback form is not a voting form as such but will assist in determining support for the proposed pedestrian crossing upgrade. All feedback received will be considered, however it is not intended to reply to individual respondents.
