Aubin Street, Neutral Bay - Proposed no parking

Council has received safety concerns about service vehicles unable to safely exit the driveway of Cranbrook Care at 58A Wycombe Road due to parking on both sides of Aubin Street. In response to these concerns, Council is considering a proposal to install a “No Parking” restriction extending 4.8 metres from the eastern edge of the driveway. The proposal would result in a loss of one on-street space on the northern side of Aubin Street, east of the driveway.

The proposal would allow drivers to exit the Aubin Street driveway of the Cranbrook Care aged care facility without colliding with cars parked on-street.

Under NSW Road Rules, a “No Parking” restriction would restrict a driver parking in the area where the sign applies for more than 2 minutes and requires the driver to stay within 3 metres of their vehicle.
