New Draft Plan of Management for Cremorne Reserve

The new draft Plan of Management for Cremorne Reserve was on public exhibition from 6 October - 21 November 2021 (available in the document library or click here).

The draft Plan of Management (PoM) for Cremorne Reserve sets out Council’s land management objectives for the Reserve, addresses current issues and identifies and prioritises required work. It meets Council’s objectives regarding land management under the Local Government Act 1993, the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and the Native Title Act 1993 and enables flexibility of use by Council and the community.

Council is progressively preparing a new suite of Plans of Management that address relevant Crown reserves to comply with the requirements of The Crown Land Management Act 2016 which came into force in July 2018. View more information including FAQs and a list of areas that are included here.

Next Steps

Council’s project team is reviewing all submissions. A report to Council will outline the community’s responses to the draft PoM, and any changes needed to finalise the document resulting from the submissions. Once adopted, the document will replace Council’s existing PoM for Cremorne Reserve 2013.
