Consultation has concluded

At its meeting on 25 November 2019 Council considered a Planning Proposal to identify the property 6 Hayes Street, Neutral Bay, as an item of local heritage significance under the North Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2013 (NSLEP 2013). At this meeting Council resolved to forward the Planning Proposal to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment with a request that the plan be made.

On 1 May 2020 the Planning Proposal, North Sydney Local Environmental Plan (Amendment No. 26), came into force following its publication on the NSW legislation website. A copy of the amendment can be accessed at: https://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au/EPIs/2020-185.pdf

At its meeting on 24 February 2020 Council adopted an amendment to North Sydney Development Control Plan 2013 (NSDCP 2013) to identify 8 Hayes Street, Neutral Bay as a “contributory item” within the Kurraba Point Conservation Area. This amendment comes into effect on 12 March 2020. The amendment is available to view at Council’s Customer Service Centre as well as on Council’s website.
