Area 21 North Sydney/Crows Nest Area - Parking Restrictions - feedback closed 29 June 2020

JUNE 2020 - Review of Restrictions 6 months after implementation

Following the new signs installed on 11 October 2019, the North Sydney Traffic Committee on 26 July 2019 and at the Council meeting on 26 August 2019 (Item EPS02 - Min. 238) resolved to recommend that the new parking restrictions be reviewed six months after the date of installation in Parking Area 21.

Based on the feedback over the last six months and the review of occupancy rates in Cassins Lane, Council is now proposing the following changes: THAT the existing three (3) spaces of “Unrestricted Parking” on the western side of Cassins Lane, near the intersection of Carlow Street, be converted to “2P 8:30am‐6pm Mon‐Fri, Permit Holders Excepted Area 21” parking spaces. The restriction proposed is intended to match the existing restrictions in Cassins Lane and Cassins Avenue and predominately nearby restrictions (a diagram of the proposed change is available in the Document Library - Current Surveys).

Feedback closed on Monday 29 June 2020 and was reported to the North Sydney Traffic Committee on Friday 24 July 2020. Outcomes of the North Sydney Traffic Commitee will be reported to Council for endorsement.
