In response to a request from a new childcare centre, North Sydney Council is proposing to change the parking restriction for four (4) 1 hour on-street parking spaces to facilitate drop off/pick up area during the morning and afternoon school drop off and pick up times.
The changes are proposed on the south side of Ridge Street, impacting on-street parking spaces from Miller Street to James Place and will allow drivers to stop for up to 15 minutes. The changes will facilitate access during peak times to the new childcare centre, the school and businesses nearby. A plan of the proposed changes is provided in the documents section.
The survey is not a voting form as such but will assist in determining level of support for the proposed traffic, pedestrian and parking arrangements for your street. All feedback received will be considered, however it is not intended to reply to individual respondents.
It is expected that a report with the community feedback is presented to the next available Traffic Committee meeting.
For further information (including progress updates) visit the webpage above or contact Council’s Traffic & Transport Operations Department on 9936 8100 or email yoursay@northsydney.nsw.gov.au.
