Mapping Queer North Sydney
Add your personal map pin, and become part of North Sydney history. Share your local LGBTIQA+ memories, stories and life events with others in the community!
This project is open to all LGBTIQA+ people and allies.
Browse the map to explore queer stories from across the North Sydney Council area.
All information shared will become a part of the Stanton Library's Local History collection, so future generations can have a greater understanding of queer life in North Sydney.
North Sydney Council acknowledges the Cammeraygal People as being the traditional owners of this land on which we work, live and play; and we pay our respects to the Elders past and present.

Contribute to the queer map of the North Sydney area...
Place a marker pin on the map by clicking on the '+' icon, selecting a pin type, and dragging to your location.
Share your local LGBTIQA+ memory, story, event or feeling. It can be historical or current - and tell us a year if you can.
The fine print: When adding a pin, you will need to create a ‘screen name’. This is publicly viewable. For anonymity consider a unique screen name that will not personally identify you.
You will also need to supply an email address which will not be viewable on the map.
