Planning Proposal PP5/23 – Heritage listing 115-125 Holt Avenue, Cremorne

Planning Proposal PP5/23 seeks to identify 115-125 Holt Avenue, Cremorne as local heritage items within Schedule 5 – Environmental Heritage and identification on the Heritage Map to North Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2013. On 14 August 2023, Council resolved to support the progression of the Planning Proposal to Gateway Determination.
On 5 September 2023, the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) issued a Gateway Determination allowing the Planning Proposal to be placed on public exhibition subject to Council meeting certain conditions.
Council is not authorised to be the plan-making authority to finalise the making of this plan. This process will be undertaken by the DPE.
The Planning Proposal will be on public exhibition from Tuesday 19 September 2023 to Tuesday 17 October 2023.
The Planning Proposal and supporting documents may be viewed in the document library; at Council’s Customer Service Centre, 200 Miller Street, North Sydney; and Stanton Library, 234 Miller Street, North Sydney, during opening hours.
Note. Council is aware that a Complying Development Certificate (CDC 175596) was issued on 6 September 2023 which permits the demolition of the dwellings at 115, 117 and 119 Holt Avenue, Cremorne. At the commencement of this public exhibition period, it is understood that demolition of these dwellings commenced on Friday 15 September 2023.

POST EXHIBITION REPORT
