Council is asking everyone in the local community to ‘Have your say on our next ten years’, to help us develop a new Community Strategic Plan (CSP) for 2025-2035.

We're seeking your feedback on all aspects of North Sydney’s future through a series of five Discussion Papers, online surveys and dedicated community forums.

Council is also hosting a series of online forums on our YouTube channel where a panel of experts will provide insights and encourage evidence-based discussion about the future of North Sydney:

  • Integrated Transport Community Forum - Wednesday 12 June, 6:00-7:30pm

  • Culture and Creativity Community Forum - Tuesday 18 June, 6:00-7:30pm


About this consultation

The information collected through this consultation will help to identify the needs and aspirations of the North Sydney community over the next ten years and will be used to develop a strategy for each Discussion Paper focus area.

These strategies will then be combined to develop Council’s new Community Strategic Plan (CSP) for 2025-2035 which will outline the shared vision for the future. The strategies will also inform Council’s future Delivery Programs, Operational Plans and Resourcing Strategies, to ensure that Council’s resources are focused on delivering the outcomes needed and wanted by the North Sydney community.


$100 prize draw

Everyone who provides feedback via our online surveys has the option to go into a prize draw to win a weekly $100 gift voucher. There are 4 x $100 gift vouchers available in total. The winners will be drawn at random each week from Tuesday 4 June – Tuesday 25 June inclusive and announced the same day. It is strictly one entry per person per focus area survey.
