The title of the study was shortened from ‘The area to the north of the North Sydney CBD’ because it was a bit of a mouthful. It was not intended to suggest that the area is the CBD.

The survey is aimed at the whole community. Stakeholder groups are identified in the project-specific community engagement strategy available in the document library.

Sydney Metro is not the same as the light rail that is currently under construction in the City of Sydney and Eastern Suburbs.

There are number of events that occur in the study area (e.g. Northside Produce Market, Twilight Food Fair, Children’s Festival, ShoreShocked, Spring Cycle and various events at the North Sydney Oval). This initial phase of the study focuses on spaces & places that the community value rather than events.
