On 23 December 2022, the Minister for Planning issued a Gateway Determination allowing a Planning Proposal for 12-14 Waters Road, Neutral Bay (PP2/22) to proceed to public exhibition. The Planning Proposal was accompanied by a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) to provide a monetary contribution of $1.9 million to Council to be used towards public domain improvements in the Neutral Bay Town Centre.
The draft VPA was on public exhibition from 6 March to 17 April 2023 and can be viewed in the document library. Hard copies of the documents were made available for viewing at Council’s Customer Service Centre and Stanton Library during opening hours.
Note: As the Planning Proposal was not supported by Council and has now been the result of a successful rezoning review, Council is not managing the plan making process, the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) is. Submissions on the Planning Proposal must be made to DPE and close 22 March 2023.
