Tunks Park Plan of Management

A combined Masterplan/Plan of Management is being developed for Tunks Park to:

  • establish an overall vision for the Park; and
  • set out how the park will be used and managed for the next 5-10 years

Council is committed to involving the community in this project to ensure it is underpinned by broad-based community and stakeholder input. This will occur in various stages.

Phase 1 (Scoping of values and issues) and Phase 2 (Potential Options) was completed in November and December 2017. These included a two-stage community workshop, online survey, on-site intercept surveys and online discussion forum.

Phase 3 (Testing Options) is currently underway. Ways to get involved and have your say include:

  • Community Workshop (Testing Options): 10 April 2018 (completed)
  • Drop-in Sessions at Tunks Park: 7, 11 and 14 April 2018 (completed)
  • Online Feedback Survey: open 3-24 April 2018
