UPDATE AUGUST 2020

At its meeting held Monday 27 July 2020, Council considered the post exhibition report (available in the document library) and resolved to adopt the 2020/21 Fees and Charges Schedule.

Feedback closed 21 July 2020

Feedback was sought on proposed Fees and Charges Schedule, applicable in the 2020/21 financial year, inclusive of proposed increases in existing fees as well as proposed new fees. Public notice of at least 28 days is required in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.

Where permissible, the majority of Council's existing fees and charges have been increased by an estimated CPI amount of 2.0% over the previous year’s adopted schedule and comparable market rates. All existing fees and charges have been assessed according to the nature of the services being provided.

Only a 3 month permit is available for vehicles registered interstate in accordance with the Road Act 1993.

Note: the related report to the Governance & Finance Committee meeting of 1 June 2020 incorrectly advised that the Resident Parking Temporary Permit - Interstate vehicle fee was to be discontinued.
