Consultation has concluded

There are many ways Council communicates with the community. We use traditional mediums like newspapers and billboards, as well as newer channels such as email and social media. The media environment is constantly changing, so we want to ensure that the messages we're sharing are reaching the whole community in the most appropriate way.

We are reviewing our External Communications Strategy. This Strategy outlines what our communication priorities are and identifies the ways we action these priorities. Our aim is to ensure we actively engage with all stakeholders in our community.

Preliminary Engagement

Survey - closes 14 May

Council wants to hear about how you'd like us to communicate local news, stories, events, projects and other information with you.

Complete the short survey to tell us how you want Council to connect with you and you'll go in the draw to win one of five x $50 gift cards - refer to the terms and conditions.

Pop-up Information Stalls

  • Kirribilli Markets - 22 April
  • Northside Produce Market - 6 May

Council will also use the findings from its periodic Customer Satisfaction Survey to inform the draft Strategy.

Public Exhibition

More details will be provided once the draft Strategy has been prepared and reported to Council for endorsement to exhibit for 42 days. You can give feedback on the Strategy during the exhibition period.
