Council resolved at its meeting held 26 April 2022, to place theDraft Code of Meeting Practice on public exhibition for 28 days, submissions will be accepted until 8 June 2022 (42 days from the exhibition commencement date).
The main changes from the previous Code are in relation to remote meeting attendance.
The Draft Code of Meeting Practice can viewed in the Document Library (Council report).
The proposed amendments are shown in red font and the proposed deletions are shown in strikethrough.
Note: This exhibition period is in addition to the recent call for public comment with regard to the frequency etc. of Council Meetings (Proposed Changes to Council Meeting Schedule and Practice, conducted from 1 February to 14 March 2022). This will be the subject of a briefing with Councillors and further report to Council in June 2022.
