Consultation has concluded

North Sydney Council is working to create an engaging and resilient CBD that offers a greater range of activities and unique public spaces for workers, residents and visitors. A CBD that is appealing and easy to move about.

To achieve this, a comprehensive planning review must be undertaken. The preparation of a Public Domain Strategy for the CBD forms a key part of the review.

The Public Domain Strategy is being developed to establish a vision and guide future upgrades of our public spaces. Council is committed to involving the community in this project to ensure it is underpinned by broad-based community and stakeholder input.

Initial ideas were developed based on what we have heard from the community about public domain during recent consultations. Ways to get involved and have your say included workshops and walkshops, submissions and an online survey.

Phase 1 of consultation closed Friday 18 May 2018.

Phase 2 of consultation closed Tuesday 26 June 2018.

A summary of findings and draft Strategy is expected to be on public exhibition in the upcoming months.
