UPDATE JUNE 2019
Council at its meeting held 24 June 2019 resolved:
1. THAT Council resolves to ticket Bradfield Park, Mary Booth Reserve, Blues Point Reserve and Quibaree Park at a cost of $10 (plus booking fee) in order to manage access to New Year’s Eve 2019 at these sites. 2. THAT Council resolves to ticket the above parks and opportunity be given for residents to acquire up to 20% (6,800 tickets) prior to sale to the general public. 3. THAT the ticket system include pass-out wrist bands to enable attendees to access local businesses and tickets will be issued to specific individuals and not transferable to avoid resale/scalping.
