Feedback closes 5pm, 5 July 2019.

Council resolved at its meeting held 27 May 2019 to place the Draft 2019/20 Community Grants and Subsidies report on public exhibition for a minimum of 28 days.

Each year Council invites community organisations to apply for a donation from the Council to assist in the provision of services for the North Sydney community. They closed on 1 March 2019.

All funding requests submitted to Council were evaluated in terms of:

  • the type of need being met; the unique qualities of the project; its level ofinnovation and the degree to which it meets the objectives of Council’s social planning programs;
  • the financial status of the organisation or service provider; the quality of itsmanagement and organisational structure; its funding levels and sources; and its ability to account for funding sources, fund applications and outcomes; and
  • Council’s Community Grants and Subsidies Policy and criteria.

SUBMISSIONS ARE INVITED

Submissions may be received up until 5pm, 5 July 2019. Prior to making a submission please ensure you have reviewed the Draft Community Grants and Subsidies report, which can be found in the document library.

Copies of the Draft Operational Plan and Budget are available for viewing viewing at:

  • Council’s Customer Service Centre, 200 Miller Street, North Sydney, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Stanton Library, 234 Miller Street, North Sydney, from 9am to 9pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm on Friday and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
